Painted in the Penn Dutch style of the 17th and 18th Century, this design features a pair of birds under the tree of life, guardian angel, heart, tulips and is covered with snail scrolls and spongework. Simple furniture like this bentwood chair was heavily decorated by families who couldn’t afford to wall art. It has an antique finish to enhance this traditional design.
